Dr. Hallquist

Dr. Hallquist graduated from Hope College, majoring in biology and chemistry, and received his dental degree from the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry.  After his wife Patricia finished graduate school in Chicago, they moved to Oshkosh.  They have two adult sons.

A strong believer in community involvement and support, Dr. Hallquist belongs to the Oshkosh Rotary Southwest and is an active volunteer with the Tri-County Mobile Dental Clinic.  In 2011 Dr Hallquist took a team of 3 employees with him to Arequipa, Peru for a week of donated dental services in an underserved community through Health Bridges International.  And in January 2014, Dr Hallquist traveled with 2 of our employees to Hinche, Haiti to volunteer at a dental clinic sponsored by Christ the Rock Community Church.

Working together with you, Dr. Hallquist wants you to achieve a lifetime of excellent oral health.  From the very beginning of his dental career, Dr. Hallquist has followed a practice philosophy of providing quality dental care using time tested materials and techniques.  He continues to attend classes and workshops to stay current with improved technologies and advancements in dentistry.  Dr. Hallquist is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA) and the Winnebago County Dental Society.  He is also an active participant in the Winnebagoland Chapter of the Seattle Study Club.

In his spare time, Dr. Hallquist enjoys canoeing (especially in the Boundary Waters), biking and camping.  Having grown up on a plant nursery in Holland, Michigan, Dr. Hallquist is the prime planner and planter of the amazing tulip beds and gardens at our office.  He also enjoys photography, local government and foreign affairs, and the Packers.  But his most abiding interest currently is solar energy.  He is fascinated by its potential and its uses.

Linda began her dental career as an assistant, completed hygiene school in 1996 and joined our practice in 1997.  Married and with 5 adult children (including 2 sets of twins), she also has 7 grandchildren.  Her well honed children skills come in quite handy as she works at a children’s dental office most of the week. But we are quite pleased to have Linda start the week with us as one of our Monday hygienists.  She fills her free time with camping, sports, animals and the outdoors and, like a true Wisconsin native, going up North.

Tori graduated from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in 1987 as a hygienist and has had the additional training required to administer local anesthesia. We were delighted to have her join our office in early 2012 on Tuesdays. Now Tori works Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Married with two children and one son-in-law, Tori enjoys spending time at their cottage on English Lake in addition to biking, walking, and scrapbooking.

Laurie joined our practice in August of 2013, but she came with over 28 years of dentistry experience.   After graduating from the FVTC Dental Assisting program in 1985, she returned to FVTC for her hygiene and local anesthesia licensure graduating in 2006.  The proud mother of one daughter, who also became a hygienist. Laurie enjoys reading non-fiction (especially biographies) in her time off.  Her guiding light words:  Always look on the bright side!

has 3 years of experience in dental assisting.  She started at our office in April of 2015, and we are so happy to have her! Leah enjoys the diversity of dentistry, but the most important thing is making each patient comfortable with providing a positive, memorable experience.  Leah has a gold retriever named Fletch that she adores. She enjoys traveling in her spare time, and hopes to take a trip to South America in the near future. Leah is currently enrolled into Fox Valley Tech to become a hygienist.

When something goes wrong at the office Tracy is our "go to girl." She is our plumber, contractor, mechanic, and coffee queen. Coffee is Tracy's go to thing and you will never see her without it by her side. She has a husband and three dogs. In her spare time, Tracy likes to fix up her house with her husband and spend time with her friends. She always finds a new project to work on.

Phoenix joined our office in late 2014, after being introduced to chair side assisting at the National Dental Academy in 2013. Phoenix finds the diversity of a general dentistry office to be a comfortable fit and loves to assist for root canals! She is hoping to further her education and become a hygienist. In her free time, Phoenix loves to spend time with her son, who's two years old. Watching him grow and learn while he's coming into his own personality. That's her favorite part. She also enjoys to play with her two cats, Mittz and Howie. She enjoys to spend time with her boyfriend, Bryce, and working on their house. Her favorite place to go as a family is High Cliff National Park to have a picnic and go hiking with her son and boyfriend.

In her spare time, Ann loves to vacation at her cottage, go to concerts, and spend time with her little puppy. Although not a pup anymore, Bosco always will be a puppy at heart.
